The second season of The Go Green na Optiven continues to spread its wings as more schools continue to get recognized for their dedication to environmental conservation. Among the latest institutions to receive awards was Masogo Secondary School in Kisumu, where our General Manager Optiven Global Office, proudly presented the award in appreciation of the school’s commitment to greening.
The Go Green na Optiven campaign, launched as part of Optiven’s broader sustainability mission, has the objective to instill environmental responsibility. Through this initiative, several schools across the country have taken significant steps in tree growing, ensuring the Sustainable Development Goals remain on course.

“Receiving this award for our efforts in Go Green Season 2 is not just a recognition of our hard work, but a celebration of what we stand for, and that is a greener and more sustainable future,” uttered a student at Mitahato Secondary who were 6th in the competition. The students, with support from the school, have already implemented a nursery in the school, they have set up a tank for water harvesting and done waste reduction aligning with the Go Green objectives.
