As the country continues to battle with Covid-19 Pandemic, needy families in Loitoktok receive food donations to help sustain their livelihood affected by Covid-19 through #SpreadingHope campaign.

Beatrice Kanini

“I am Beatrice Kanini ,33 years of age, living with my mother in Kuku sub-location , Loitoktok. I was born healthy but in my teen years i was misdiagnosed with malaria which was later confirmed to be meningitis.” She narrates. She says the effect of the misdiagnosis had left her paralysed and mentally unstable.

Her mother who had been a casual labourer for years had no choice but to take time off work and take care of her.  “I thank Optiven Foundation who donated to me a brand wheel chair and Food during this Covid- 19 pandemic.” Kanini says.

“My name is Maria from Loitoktok , I deeply extend my gratitude to Optiven Foundation for reaching out to support me during this trying time. I am a single mother, I developed complication when delivering twins that’s when the unfortunate happened.

I got an infection that later infected my legs. I couldn’t walk and fending for my family has been a struggle. May God bless Optiven Family for giving me wheels to support me and now Food donation.” Maria Narrates.
