The festive season was a time for the Optiven Foundation in collaboration with the members of the Optiven Football Club OFC to share Christmas Cheer with different children’s homes. The two teams joined hands and hearts with the families living in three children’s homes as they interacted with the children and later donated foodstuffs to the homes.

Ann Nyaga, the Optiven Foundation Cordinator led the delegations and noted that this was part of the foundation’s engagement under it’s Poverty Eradication and Health pillar. According to Nyaga, “this is the second Christmas Caravan we have had as the Optiven Foundation. The first one was held in 2024 and benefitted children’s homes in the informal settlements.

This year 3 homes benefitted as well as a food distribution drive held at Vipingo for the communities in Mferejini.” She thanked the partners who made the initiative a success noting that the Optiven Foundation is funded by wellwishers and investors at Optiven Real Estate where the company gives 5% to the Optiven Foundation to fund it’s initiatives. Nyaga further welcomed all well wishers to partner for the year 2025 where the Optiven Foundation shall continue to transform the society in education, environment, poverty eradication and health.
