There was also a medical camp at Kakululo dispensary with a team of 35 qualified medical personnel composed of doctors, clinical officers, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists, and nutritionists. The treatment was second line intervention/ therapy, meaning, the medics were out to resolve the issues and intolerable side effects developed after first line treatment.

It saw the villagers arrive as early as 6am in search for medical intervention. The operation was carried out smoothly with the assistance of the community health workers who were of great support in the entire medical camp. Over 400 locals were attended to, various diseases were treated including ENT and Visual health. There was sufficient rooms for the various Doctors to attend to the patients while observing the confidentiality that comes with the practice.

Of keen to note was the high numbers the senior citizens who turned up for treatment. The area has a huge population of the aged and it would be a great achievement if they are well taken care of. The conclusion of the day came to its peak with unveiling the Senior Citizens package. This was inclusive of a blanket, rice, flour and sugar. Over 120 elderly received the package and were grateful decreeing blessings and increase upon the Foundation. You are priceless and blest for being a partner in this initiative.

Time could not allow us to stay more in Mwingi as darkness was creeping in and with no electricity at the dispensary we had to pack our things early enough. We are grateful to everyone who offered their support, the sponsors and donors, Benchmark and Hope FM and every individual who bought the book or T-shirt or brought in donation in kind , the MOH Mingwani Hospital, who gave us the authority to carry out the medical camp, and ensuring that they were there to offer the necessary support.

The Administration, the Chief and Assistant Chief, for being with the team the whole day and also ensuring that we had adequate security personnel who kept vigil all day long. The local committee on the ground that had mettirelesslyto ensure the event became successful. Everyone else who was involved in every other way, we value you.

Each new day is another chance at a new beginning, yesterday is a memory, and tomorrow is a mystery all we really have is today-make today matter
