The UN sustainable development goals encourage partnerships for goals under SDG number 11. The Optiven Foundation as an adherent of the UN SDGs, have been fast tracking partnerships in 2022. Today the Optiven Foundation hosted representatives of Mimshak Spares Ltd as they made a donation towards the Education Pillar of the philanthropy strategy.
The handover ceremony was held today at the Optiven Foundation offices on Absa Towers and witnessed by staff from both companies. At hand to receive the donation on behalf of the Optiven Foundation were Ann Nyaga and William Nagilae.
Nyaga, thanked the team from Mimshak Spares Ltd saying their donation was a great step towards the education pillar. Mr. Phillip Macharia, the CEO, at Mimshak Spares Limited noted that his team would continuously work together with the Optiven Foundation to encourage and increase capacity for education across the country.
Through the Soaring Eagles Scholarship Program SESP, and in partnership with stakeholders, the Optiven Foundation has been offering scholarships to students and pupils across the country.
